Green to Blue Mind Map

Turning ideas into action through symbolic STEM infographics.

The STEMCycle G2B Lab Hub's 1st Mission challenges students to transform Green-to-Blue sustainability thinking into Napkin-style infographics. Using minimal text, clear symbols and a green–blue palette, each student picks one problem and one solution related to water, nature or sustainability, and turns it into a single visual message. The chapter also includes the Teachers' Climate & Energy Workshop and the project's logo/poster voting and pre-test results.

🎯 1ST MISSION GOAL — Turn ideas into action by transforming Green-to-Blue sustainability thinking into symbolic STEM infographics. 🧠 What students do: 1️⃣ Choose an idea from the Tricider IceBreaker (December Activity). 2️⃣ Transform it into a Napkin-style infographic using the Napkin AI web tool. 3️⃣ Focus on symbols, icons and simple visuals. 4️⃣ Upload the work to the STEMCycle G2B Lab Hub 1st Mission Web App (V1 or V2). 🎨 Design rules: one main idea · minimal text · green–blue palette · clear symbols & icons. 🌍 Why it matters: develops creative & critical thinking, encourages STEM-based sustainability solutions, and builds awareness of the Green-to-Blue Innovation Lab.

"From Green to Blue" is, for me, a message that nature silently delivers to humanity. Green represents the memory of the soil, effort and patience, while blue symbolises the flow of time, change and infinity. The transition between these two colours reflects the constant transformation of life. The journey from green to blue is not just a change of colour, but a process of awareness. Every story that begins in the soil is carried by water and touches other lives. Therefore, every harm done to nature — or every act of care — eventually returns to us. For me, this concept is a call to see nature not as a resource to be consumed, but as a value to live with. "From Green to Blue" reminds us that humanity must reconnect with nature and build the future together.

Partner students voted across schools for the official STEMCycle G2B logo and for the project's poster and slogan. The winning entries now appear in classroom materials, project headers and shared social posts — a small piece of co-designed identity.
